Fear is a common element of everyday living. Entertainers, famous people, speakers, and public figures all admit to it. Fear can grip and control your life or you can find a way to master it. People who manage fear themselves do it through techniques that control or quench fear, or they hide their fear. For Christians, fear should be handled quite differently.

Where do you begin, if you find yourself often consumed with fear? Begin with God’s perfect love. Those around you, satan, and the world offer no peace. But God who loved you enough to come to earth as a man, die a brutal death on the cross to pay the price of your sins, and rise from the dead in triumphant power stands ready to consume your fears. You fear because you do not have a depth of intimacy in your relationship with Christ. Christ will only take you as far as you will let Him. Go deep into Christ with a fervent, passionate relationship, so that you will realize the perfection of His love.
John 14:27 “Peace I leave with you; My peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” (NIV)
